Self-guided craft beer tours in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. You buy prepaid beer vouchers for independent bars. There is no guide, no group and no fixed schedule.
Any beer on tap, up to 0.4 l each. Prices include all taxes. Included: bars picked for your taste and open at your time, a planned route, the story behind each bar and a reserved table where the bar offers one. Not included: extra drinks and food (paid to the bar at normal prices) and taxi or bus between areas.
You book with the form on our website or on WhatsApp. You pay by card through Stripe. Right after payment we email you your bars, the route and your vouchers (QR codes).
Each voucher is for one beer per person in the bar it names. It is valid all day on your booked date, until midnight. Show the QR code at the bar and the staff redeem it. A voucher is either valid or redeemed. Unused vouchers expire at midnight and are not refunded.
Where the bar offers it, a table is held for 20 minutes from your booked time and then released. Your vouchers stay valid for the rest of that day, so you still get your beer if you arrive later.
Change your day, time or area for free up to 2 hours before your booked time, to any day within 14 days of purchase, with the “Manage my booking” link in your confirmation email. The package and price stay the same. We email you new bars and new vouchers, and the old vouchers stop working. To switch to a different package, cancel and book again.
Cancel up to 2 hours before your booked time with the “Manage my booking” link and get a full refund of all unused vouchers to your card. Banks usually show the refund within 5 to 10 days. Less than 2 hours before your booked time there is no refund.
If a bar is closed, we offer you another bar or a new time. If nothing suits you, your unused vouchers are refunded in full.
Our tours are for adults 18 and over. Bars may ask for ID and may refuse to serve anyone who is visibly drunk. Never drink and drive.
Tours booked on GetYourGuide are changed and cancelled through GetYourGuide, under their terms.
To run your booking we use the details you give us: first name, email, phone if you write on WhatsApp, and your booking details (area, date, time, people, tour, table, start point and taste). We use them to plan your tour, send your vouchers, handle changes and cancellations, and answer your questions.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We send emails from our Google Workspace account (info@sgtours.net).
We share your first name, the number of people, your date and time and your voucher code with the bars on your route, so they can serve you and hold your table.
We send offers and news only if you tick the box for it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
